NIR's Lonely PID Trio - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The idea for this project came about as an experiment in online recording collaboration; none of the three musicians on this record ever met in person. Recorded between late December 2007 and May 2008 the record commemorates 41 years of Sgt Pepper and celebrates the vast technological advances in sound recording since then. The album artwork and general concept are based around the lingering 'Paul Is Dead' myth/concept.

The first of our three-part 'Beatles' compilation charts the group's meteoric rise to fame; from obscurity in Liverpool to worldwide Beatlemania. Includes live tracks from The Cavern, Hamburg's Star Club and the BBC as well as alternate takes, tracks from the Decca Audition and B-sides from the 1960-65 era.
Vol. II (1965-67) Lost Innocence aka The Psychedelic Years
Part two of the 'Beatles' compilation. This two-disc set features demos, tracks and alternate takes from the psychedelic turning point of The Beatles' career: 1965-67 - including material from Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour.
Vol. III (1968-70) The Return of Rock and Roll, The Philosophical Years
The third and final instalment of 'Beatles' covers their final years as a group and includes music from India, demos from the Kinfauns tapes, alternate or unreleased White Album era tracks, jams from Get Back, portions of the concert on the roof and more!
